Books I Like

The greatest gift my mother ever gave me was teaching me how to read. Many people living in Colonial America, both kids and grown-ups, do not know how to read. Gratefully, I am willing to share this gift with anyone willing to learn. On this page, I am listing books that I find interesting for one reason or another. Many have a common theme of sailing the ocean or are about events in the war. Others have stories that fascinate me.
